Movie is about a forbidden love between a priest and woman, who may be a nun. They have a baby, he is killed. But before he died, he gave her a feather,which she stuffed inside the cross and prays to it after he is killed. We know that the movie starts and finishes with her praying to the cross. It's also based during the same era as the Scarlet Letter. Help!

Well I thought you aren't sure about the tittle, I know similar mexican movie but I don't know tittle exacly, I only know that there was word "sin"

Thanks for your answers, but none of the movie suggested were it. We believe the movie came out in the late 70s or early 80s.
