I have a craftsman push mower 6.75 model #917-378410.I've taken the carb off for cleaning and want to put back on however the inlet needle came off and I don't know where it goes.Can anyone help?

While you have the carb off, it would be a good suggestion to replace the needle and seat. The seats swell and throw the float level off. I use the blunt end of a drill bit, though an Allen wrench also works. The side of the seat that goes in first has a ring; "never to be seen again" was how one factory rep put it.
