I graduated in May 2010 . Currently I'm on OPT which started on 22 July and now I got an offer from a company that pays only through 1099 basis.
My question is, Can I work on 1099 basis now. Is it legal to work on 1099 basis which is something different from W2. I am asking this because, on 1099 basis the employer won't pay tax on behalf of us. We have to pay it ourselves.
