Tragus piercing really hurts... I take it it is normal just want a little advice.
Hi Guys I know its still early to tell but I just wanted some advice,
3 days ago I had my Tragus pierced. It didn't hurt 1st day... a little bit yesterday but today its very painfull! And slightly swollen is this normal?
I find its like an ear ache pain... and feels its tight if that's the best used word.. I've tried too un screw the ball a little to losen it but its tough so I didn't want to cause any more uncofert by doing so I also feel that will just cause infection. So have left it and just kept cleaning it when nesserscary, I've taken ibruprohen to help ease the ain a little. Any advice? Thank you :)

Clean the area with antibacterial hand soap and use a sea salt rinse. What kind of jewelry do you have? Most importantly, never touch your piercing unless you are cleaning it. Keep the ball tight. Was it pierced with "healing" jewelry? Ibuprofren is fine.

    Okay I shal do so!
Thank you. I don't know what sort of jewelry was used it was £30 pound to get it done so it wasn't edsacilly "cheep" so I can't see it being a poor jewelry used. Its just painfullat the moment which I take it is normal?

Oh yeah. Piercings can be painful, especially in cartilage areas. Surgical steel is what we use at our shop.

Thank you for your hel :)
Its feeling a little better today. But ofcorse tender still. I'm sure it'll settle after some time. When I clean it... after a little while the skin area goes a little dry and (Sounds rank) but crusty sort of thing... sorry too keep asking but is this normal?I clean it twice a day. So I can't see that I'm over cleaning it..

Crusties are very normal. They are lymph secretions. Very normal. Just make sure you use sea salt and avoid peroxide and alcohol.
