I don't understand there's this one boy that always calls me skinney and his name is deshawn.but one time he asked me for a hug and I said no he asked me again and I still said no then he huged me until the warning bell rang for the next class.He won't stop asking me for hugs.When he asked me for a hug does that mean he likes me?But yet he still calls me skinney and Im really happy w/ my body because a lot of my friends have diabetic. So all teens please help me out!!

I think he wants you to think that he likes you in case you like him, but it is a winwin situation for him because if he finds out you don't like him that is what the teasing is (a coverup to protect himself from rejection) Because everything you have said sounds like all the signs point to him liking you except for the teasing, so it is a coverup because it is a safety net because if he thinks you think that he likes you, he can say well then why am I teasing you?A sign that says he is a little shy. Or it could mean that he actually likes you all the way, and the teasing is not a way to protect himself from rejection, but a way to show flirtation or the good things about himself so you would think he is a great guy , therefore stimulating you to think"hey he is a great guy, maybe we should date" or something like that.Hope I helped!!

I am not a huge fan of super skinny girls but I do think their cute and I think he just wents to hug u because I walk down the hall ways and kiss girls and hug them all the time and I don't like any of them their like sisters and stuff to me my best friend x girl firend we make out all the time for no reason and then ill go kiss my girlfriend and she has no probem with it I think he likes you if he ask for it though because I never ask but he migh tbe different I don't no for sure but thiers my answer like it or not and if u like him why not try it nothing bad ever came from give someone u like a shot (maybe I don't no) thiers my best answer good luck with

He's nervous and doesent know what to do. He tried getting your attention by calling you names, and then he wants to hug you. Isn't it obvious? He likes you.;)

What do u mean by skinny. Like olsen twin skinny? Or Top Model not anorexic skinny? If the former than he likes you, if the latter then he likes you and is probably concerned.

I have always liked them fat, tall, skinny, or small myself. I think this guy likes you.

When boys call you skinney it's not because they don't like you it's because they like the way you look and it a complement. It probably means he likes you. Is the boy cute? If he is then you have nothing to worry about.

Well I don't think he's making fun or dising you if he says it in a joking way maybe he's just kidding cause my friend is skinny but she has a botfriend that thinks she's to skinny and that she should eat more so maybe this guy is just worried about your health.

Maybe its just a nickname, and you shouldn't take it so personal. Does he have a big head? If he calls you skinney just laugh and say okay whatever big head.. laugh it off.. its not that serious, and if he took the time to make up something to call u # 1 he says that so your attention is on him and # 2 obviously he feels some type of way to keep asking for hugs and giving you a name... boys are weird like that, he'll call you skinny when he really means pretty...

Lol its cool if he says skinny my guy friends call me preppy and they like me he is trying to get your attention maybe he does like u but if he didn't would he really want to hug u? Duh hello! He does like u he wants u to understand that but not too quickly cause then he might think u don't like him so he is flirting till he finds out exactly that u like him got it? :rolleyes:

I have this same problem too, I don't believe I'm skinny at all. But some boy the other day said they wouldn't go out with me because I'm too skinny. But so many other boys like me. It confuses me as well because its not something I control! I think they just want an average fit body.? Hope this helps a little bit..
