Circuit Breaker won't stay on - please help
New homeowner and still learning - a lot. Had a breaker flip to off last night when I was trying to run 2 appliances at once. Now it will not flip back to the ON position. WHen I flip it back to on - it won't stay and flips right back to the off position.

I do have reset buttons on my outlets as well. Can someone help me understand what I need to do to fix this? Do I need an electrian to come out or is there something simple I can do?
    THanks!!

Did you try turning breaker all the way off, then back on?
An Electrician might remove the wire from the breaker, then turn back on, if it won't reset, the breaker IS bad.

Yes - and left it off last night and tried again this morning to flip it back on - still won't stick to ON. I'm having someone come out tmorrow and take a look. Thanks for the reply!

Can you unplug everything on the circuit, then turn it on? Maybe one of your appliances has a problem. If it won't stay on without a load, you may have a wiring issue.
