    Implantation bleed with period
    Hi
Could someone offer me some advice please...
My period dates are usually always on time, usually 28 days without fail and come thick and fast..
2 weeks before my period was due we had unprotected sex...
4 days before my period was due I was experiencing very light spotting which I put down to my period starting early but after 3 days it vanished and a day later my usuall full flow period started..
I have heard of implantation bleeding and although I came on as normal 4 days later I have never in my life experienced this light spotting.. and I am 39.
I did a pregnancy test but it came back negative but was it to early to test .
    Any advice would be great,
Is it possible or common to have an implantation bleed that lasts 3 days then a day later a full on period.
When the light spottin was happening I had the stomach cramps but no bloating and sweats like I do with the reg periods.
Is it really possible to experience implantation bleeding before a reg period.

Any help would be great please

The period that is happening now is much lighter too. So I am unsure as to what's going off, any advise please,
I have started with the headaches and the constant need to wee and that's about it, could it be too early for a test to be carried out as the one I did do said negative, but this spottting for 3/4 days is very unusual. And has never happened during my usual periods

It is possible it was due to implantation... some women do experience some spotting or light bleeding in early pregnancy possibly, in part, due to the increased blood flow in the area where the egg implants. Or it could have been simply your period getting ready to start... even if you never had it happen that way before.

Certainly since you are having other possible symptoms... period lighter than usual, needing to wee more often, give it several more days and try another test.
