How long have people gotten negative tests then turned out to be pregnant?
I have been told its still possible to be pregnant even if urine tests are coming back negative but I'd like to know if this has actually happened to anyone?
    Thanks

Hi maybe with a urine test, but not with a beta HCG blood test.
This is positive within a week of conception. Of course, being a blood teset you need a doctors order

Although it is not common, it can be several weeks. When was your last period? Most women will get an accurate result once they miss a period.

Some urine tests are as sensitive as some blood tests.
The accuracy of any test, urine or blood, depends on when implantation took place and whether there is enough hcg in the blood system to register on the particular test being used.

The quantitative blood test leen321 mentioned, will register an actual amount of hcg which can be more helpful, and definitive, than a positive or negative result might be.

It's now been 44 dayssince the start of my last period. I have a child already so I remember how it feels to be pregnant and I feel exactly the same but all urine tests are negative. I'm going to see my doctor today though so hopefully she can tell me what is going on.

    Keep us posted!

It has happened to me, but only because I was testing too early. Only a few days later, I had a positive result.

My doctor thinks I'm pregnant but took bloods to be sure.
