We have a well and have just recently started having problems with it. We replaced the switch about 6 months ago and everything was going fine. As of today we have very little pressure. If you flush the toilets or try to do dishes forget it because before you know it you are out of water and must wait for several hours before you have water pressure and water again. What can cause this?

1. Have you checked the switch to see if the points are closed? In other words, is the pump running?
2. Is your pump above ground or in the well?
3. If above ground, how many pipes go into the well, one or two?
4. Do you have a gauge at the tank? If so, what does it read?
