    visitation/adoption of brother & sister
    I'm 23, married and a mother of 4. I have a brother and sister
( we share the same father) and want to know what my rights are for visitation/ custody of them. My father married a socialpath ( not their mother) and she has been maliciously tearing our family apart. The children are treated horribly and I have first hand, and a lot of 3rd party testimony to that affect... please help!! :(

Where is your father in this? Why isn't he doing something.

Unfortunately you have few rights to force visitation or to adopt them unless your father is willing to relinquish rights to you. If you truly feel the children are not being treated properly, you can go to your local family services agency to start an investigation.

Cej, if you have testimony to the fact that the children are being mistreated, you must contact child protective services and tell them about your concerns. Please keep in mind that if you do not have adequate verification that this is occurring and it is purely emotionally based, it can and will back fire on you.
