I want to get rid of my ex husbands parental rights, why, so I can get a passport for
I want to get rid of my ex husbands parental rights, he doesn't call, he has no ID, he isn't a us citizen, and doesn't have a valid green card. The reason I want to do this is I work in the travel industry and have great oppertunities to travel, I want to get a passport for my children but can not unless he signs a statement, and gets it notified, but he can't be found and if he could, he has no valid ID to get anything noterized. Please help...

This is more of a legal question - but you cannot get "rid of" a parent's rights unless (in most States) the parent is serving a lengthy prison term - and sometimes not even then.

You can always go to Court and make an attempt but it is almost impossible.

I'm a notary - you can work around the ID problem.
