Please help! I want my hair longer!
* Get adequate sleep.
* Eat healthy foods and exercise daily. - Diet and exercise is extremely important for fast hair growth, as poor quality food lacks vitamins and minerals.
* Get plenty of vitamins, minerals and protein to help your hair grow fast. Protein is a key growth element, so make sure you eat eggs, white meat, fish, nuts and green leafy vegetables. Take supplements of B vitamins as well as magnesium and zinc.
* Wash your hair in cool or lukewarm water with a mild shampoo and use a light conditioner. Never wash your hair in hot water or use a hot blow dryer as they can strip your hair of their natural oils, causing excessive split ends and breakage.
* Never brush your hair when it is wet, instead pick through your hair gently with a wide-toothed comb and allow to dry throughout. Once dry, use a natural hairbrush, such as a boar's hair brush, brushing your hair from tip to root.
