For men, when they acted like you are "just a friend" to them then your best bet is to leave the relationship as is and move on with your life to find the "Mr. Right" with someone else. I'm saying this because when men crazed for you or find love in you, they would do anything not to loose you. Jerry is probably trying to warn you that, "let's just be friend". It doesn't seem like he's ready to dismiss you, but like to stay as friend.

This saying is really true, "If you love someone, set him free, if he comes back he is yours, if he does not, he never was"

He sounds like he doesn't really know if he is ready for thr type of relationship you may be seeking... even if you want this type of commitment... back off... be his friend again and let it develop by itself. Email him and let him know you miss your best friend and go from there girlfriend... don't ignore love. 8)

ChazListen you say that you really care for this so what you need to do is communicate with him your feelings and make him feel secure of you, don't forget he was ditched before, so he's hesitant to be serious and with going away to school it makes it harder so talk let him know he's the one for you and not to think that you'll do him like his ex did... good luck and God bless :)
