Goes to another world through mirror with this furball creature (in one incident he gets thrown in washing machine). There's an evil witch who has this tree with apples to keep her young. Any chance it is something based on "The Magician's Nephew" by C.S. Lewis? Some of the text here (http://cslewis.drzeus.net/papers/lionwitchallegory.html) seems to match your description to some extent but it doesn't sound exactly the same. That's the best I can do right now! Sorry

I think that you might be thinking of Hugabunch Kids movie, which you can get on eBay (it's out of print now). I know that the hugabunch kid gets put in the washing macine in this movie, and the kid is looking to make the grandma young again. Hope this helps!! :)
