I am planing on buying a phone but I don't know whether to go on a plan or not the phone I am looking into costs 30 dolllars per month for 24 months I don't know if its worth it or not. And I am worried I might damage it. Has anyone had a phone on a plan before if so tell what it was like.

I never had a plan (have always had prepaid cell phones). I read an article recently that people are turning to prepaid simply because it helps them control how much they use it. Look at Net10's website. That's where I got my phone.

The prepaid plan thing give you freedom to make a call and know it's already paid for. It's easy to buy more minutes.

I have one of the phones they sell at walmart, I pay @ 45 dollars a month for unlimited calls and text. No contract, no "plan" I have had it about 4 months now and it does great.
