Statute of limitations on kidnapping your own children in canada
The mother left the province a few years ago without the father's permission. The children have never actually lived with their mother. There is still one minor that's living with an aunt.

Oh come on. Do you actually think we can determine a kidnapping charge which is a Federal offence by what you state here. She left the province a few years ago but the children never actually lived with their mother and there is one child living with an aunt.

That is a lot to base an opinion on sharonwayne.

If she left years ago what has the father been doing in all this time? Why hasn't he gained custody of his children?

If there was an actual illegal kidnapping, and the custody was never changed, it is a on going crime, they are still kidnapped till they are returned, it is not just a crime on the day they were taken. So have they turned 18 yet,
