The fuse is about the same diameter as a normal 13amp apliance fuse. In this case it has a white body with metal ends and is mounted on a board above the incoming mains cable.

it should have the value stamped on the ends.13a is a little high for 800watt go with 8-10amp fuse,why did the fuse blow to start with?a 13amp fuse for a 1200watt microwave.use an continuity ohm meter to check the fuses that have white in the middle,since you can't visibly check them.hope this helped.please rate my answer.

Thanks very much. I gatherd it would not be 13 amp as the plug is fused at 13 amp. I have no knowledge why it blew. I just opened the door and power went.
