My son is 7 and not circumsized and when he pees he says he gets the feeling to pee again. It's nothing to do with inside the penis, he says it's at the very tip of his penis. The skin is quite tight and doesn't retract well. Anyone else out there ever experience this? The doctor is suggesting circumsision.

If he states he feels like he has to urinate again after voiding, then that sounds to me like a urinary tract infection. I could be wrong but that is one of the symptoms.

I go along with the doctor. That condition will be with him the rest of life and may cause other types of infections.

At seven it may not retract very well... often it won't happen until he is in his teens. Remind him to use the toilet whenever he feels the need to; avoiding holding it for too long. Also remind him of basic hygiene when he baths.
Did the doctor check for a UTI?
