    In an electrical service panel. Does it matter if the 2 pole breakers are on top, or ahead of the 1 pole breakers.

    The reason for this Question is as follows;
    When the lighting circuit is dimmed, the lights go dimmer momentarily, when the AC kicks in.
    Thought maybe putting the AC breaker below the lighting circuit might help stop draw down.

    This is very common, but changing the breaker position will not change anything.
    If you want try it. It won't hurt either way.
