Hi I have a 91 civic lx 1.5l and me and my dad rebuilt it and it ran fine for a little bit but still had some mechanical problems. We have all the mechanical problems fixed now and it is having eletrical problems the car ran for about 20min then shut off so we started it back up and I took it for a test drive it did all right for the first 1/2 mile then the tach started to jump to 6 grand then back to 0 and the engine ran at roughly 3 grand then it shut itself off and started back up I was wondering if the tdc sensor or cyl sensor had anything to do with it or if the car even has those sensors it has also stopped getting spark. If you know any thing let me know and I would appreciate the help thank you.:confused:

Replace the igniter in the distributor and you should be fine.
