Okay so my ex boyfriend and I broke up a month ago. He still calls me, but I don't answer or return his calls. We had a bizarre break up, he keeps telling me he still loves me and that he is very confused. Just a month before we broke up he told his parents that he wants to marry me someday when we are both ready. Then all of a sudden out of nowhere he told me that he doesn't know if he is the type of person that can give me what I want. I don't know... the whole thing makes no sense. No one in my life can make any sense out of what's going on. I am trying to forget about him, but its hard because I really felt deep down that he was the one. I could and still can't picture myself with anyone else. He said the same thing... can someone make sense of this please?

Perhaps what you need to do here is sit down and talk to him about what it is he really wants.. both of you lay down what you're feeling... and you need to ask him what he really wants to do.. if he wants to be with you then great... if not then tell him that he needs to let you go then so you can begin the process of moving on and cut all ties if necessary... no sense in holding on to him if this isn't what he wants and it sounds like neither of you is clear on what is really going on or what you want..
