I just got a dashound for a animal rescue they told me that he liked towels so I put one in his kinel well, he ripped it to shreds and I think he ate some of it the day he did this he pooped strings but then he was fine but now three days have passed and he has diria and throughing up a large piece of towel what should I do?

Take him to a vet. He may have pieces blocking his intestines, or lodged somewhere.

And talk to the rescue people and tell them they should be more specific in the future between a dog LIKING something, and liking to EAT it.
