Hello all,

I know how foolish this was but it's too late now. I have taken out 3 payday loans and I am only paying the interest out of every check because I can not pay in full. These loans are illegal in Massachusetts because of the interest rate. I have already paid well over what I borrowed in fees. Is there anything that can be done about this seeing I have paid what I borrowed so far? Thanks in advance for any help.

If they are illegal in your State, contact your State Attorney General and/or Banking Commission. However, many of these loans are cleverly written to get around the law and many contain cluases which entitled the creditor to an automatic judgment against you. There isn't even a need to serve you with legal papers.
