Can we change our daughter's visa from a student's visa to a settlement visa from the UK if we are living in the UK? My husband has acquired British citizenship through his mother's British birth. We have been living in Zimbabwe but now he has citizenship we aim to move to UK but then she will not come back to Zim. We have heard that she will have to come back to her own country to do this

According to British Visa Rules International Students will have to fly back to their native countries after accomplishing their education and apply settlement visas from there.
