My brother is moving in with my mom, we haven't talked to him about moving in yet because he has some issues and such, but anyway.. He can't know were doing this, so asking is out of the question.

He is a 12 year old boy who loves hunting, quadding, triking, sledding, and almost anything to do with being outside. We are painting his walls (There a boring beige), and trying to "theme" his room. He has a solar system light thing that hangs on the ceiling with the planets sticking out so we thought maybe solar system themed, but is that to "babyish" for a 12 year old?

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Example sports,music.

I like the solor planet idea,I don't think its babyish...

My 9 year old daughter has a huge poster of the planets that covers one wall of her room,they 'light up'.. its kind of cool.

Thoses sticky stars that go on the walls or ceiling and glow at night.

A blackboard on one wall,you can get ones that attach to the back of the door or wall.

He doesn't really like anything that a usual boy would. He doesn't like transformers, or lego, or anything like that. It is mostly quadding and such like I mentioned. We want him to have a "sanctuary" where he can go when he gets mad and feel relaxed. I like the blackboard wall.. he writes on the walls as it is.
