A movie about a deer and a moutain lion
What was the movie, long time ago B&W, where a male deer and a moutain lion grew up together and were companions. Later in the movie the buck had a mate which was killed by a poacher. Eventually the moutain lion and deer meet up with the poacher and the two drove the poacher off a cliff.
In another movie there was this old hermit who lived in a large woods. I believe loggers wanted to cut down his woods and there trying to get rid of him. They did not succede and in the meantime a kid made friends with the hermit. The hermit also had some type of mysterious powers. In a heavy wind storm the kid was pinned uner a fallen tree and the old hermit saved him by magicaly lifting the tree log up to get the kid out.
LOL! I'm not hallucinating, I used to watch a lot of spooky movies weird ones. I think I was about 10 years old when I saw these and that was 50 years ago.
