I want to change my sons middle name it is misspelled

Hello my son is 6 moths old I want to change his middlename because it was misspelled.. how can I change it without going through a long process

Where are you located? We can't advise you unless we have that information; each area has varying laws and procedures. Most of the time, you can simply fill out a form, pay the fee and they'll mail you a new certificate.

Is the middle name the only part of the birth certificate you're trying to modify?
