    Need Investor(s)
I am in the Austin, Texas area and have everything I need to start my restaurant... everything except 1-2 investors. Could anyone give me advice on how I can go about finding investors? Any help and/or info would be appreciated.

When I was looking I was told to do a very intense business plan and then ask my attorney, accountant and friends to pass it to the right people, it's a start.
Be careful what the TERMS are...

I will agree with Paul, since 9 out of 10 restaurants fail within the first 10 years they are not normally considered the greatest investment. Chains havve a better average but even they are not that high a success rate.

A very good marketing plan, a picked location with a good report on the local traffic, a great business plan that has been reviewed and signed off on by an accountant, a attorney and perhaps a expert in the field.

Then present ( sell) it to various investment groups.

Contact the local restaurant owners association or local chamber of commerce. They may be able to recommend investors. But after you have done what Paul and Chuck said.
