There is a room in the house that has mold in the carpet and its lager area it appeared about a month after we moved in and when we told the rental company about it they said " to through some resolve down and that should take care of it. We did that and it didn't do anything. After we told the rental company a second time about it they said they would get back to us and they never did.

You need to have someone inspect the carpet and determine the extent of the problem. Then give the results of the inspection to the rental company. Give them a week to resolve the problem or you will have someone come in and clean things up and deduct it from your rent.
