Injury causing discharge and small amount of blood?
Today I was moving furniture and I picked up a heavy computer tower. After putting it on a shelf, it fell and I caught it, somehow injuring myself. It felt basically like I pulled or tore something within my vagina. I then had a large amount of a clear liquid flow out of my vagina, along with a small amount of blood. Now, a few hours afterward, it feels almost like something is there that shouldn't be, almost like I have something stuck, a downward sort of pressure. I am very worried and I do not know what this could be.

Some more information, my family is prone to ovarian cysts.

    Could this be the cause?

A friend of mine just told me that this could have been a miscarriage? My mother will be taking me to the gynecologist within the month, but I'd like to know the possibilities of what this could be

Is the feeling in your vagina or just above it? Is there any way you can get to the doctor sooner? Also is there a way you could be pregnant?

There definitely is a possibility of me being pregnant (and I have a few times before, including a few weeks ago)

The feeling is in both above and within, but it feels sort of deep in a way. I can't get to a doctor any sooner, but the majority of the pain is gone now. It now is just very uncomfortable, like a downward pressure and slightly sore above, but still deep inside my lower abdomine just above my vagina

Thank you for responding, I truly appreciate it

It might just be a pulled muscle. If you are pregnant that would account for the blood. I don't think it is a miscarriage because you would have a bleeding similar to a period and cramping. I hope that's not the case. No lifting till you find out!!

I was having some cramping just prior to moving the furniture and picking up the computer.

I forget exactly how period cramps feel, I was on depo-provera before and for the past four months, I haven't had a period

Thank you again for the information and help

Also, there is pain in the area behind my belly button that started when I got injured yesterday

I just went to the bathroom and urinating causes these areas to have severe pain

Walking and getting up also causes extreme pain.

My mother and I think it may be a pulled muscle, but we aren't sure

Sounds like a pulled muscle, but Emop, you know we can't tell you exactly what's going on. We can only guess.

You need to get to a doctor if this is causing you great discomfort, or bleeding.

How about the hospital? Is that an option?

My mum is currently having me lay on the couch for a few days with a warm towel taking some tylenol. If it isn't better in a few days, she's taking me to the doctor.

I know you all could only guess, I guess it's a peace of mind thing?

You need to go to the hospital, honey.

You absolutely do NOT want to mess with pain that severe, especially if you had clear liquid discharge and bleeding.

    Go see a doctor!

I honestly have no way of getting to a doctor for at least a few days. During the days, I babysit and at night my dad is gone so it's hard for my mum to handle my little at a doctor or hospital. I'll talk to my mum tonight about going to the hospital and if she agrees, I'll go.

You definitely need to get this checked out. I agree with a pulled muscle, but can't be sure.

Thank you J, how should I care for it for now assuming it is a pulled muscle? My mum told me tylenol and a warm towel

Just wondering if she went to the doctor yet.
