Hi, Im 14. And Tomorrow night, July 10th. Im going to the movies with this guy. I've never met him before, but we have a lot of mutual friends, and have been talking for about 2 months. I just need to know, what to talk about, and how to show him, I came to the movies to watch the movie, not make out with you. Ahahha. Pretty much. So, any tips about dating or anything extra! He's 15.

Just be yourself,nothing more,he likes you for you,I hope! And does not want anything else.

I would be very cautious about meeting someone for the first time,just because you have mutual friends does not mean he is a nice guy.

I am very wary about dating at 14,and I would suggest you have your friends at the ready,maybe they could go too,as a group thing?

Do your parents know your going on a date?

They know yes, like I've talked to him on the phone, and asked other people about him, and I'm good friends with his friends. But thank you for your concern.

I have the same concern as red. I wasn't allowed to go out with any guy until my aunt and uncle had met him first. Knowing his friends is not the same as knowing him. Do your parents really know what's going on? I noticed you dodged that question when red asked. Unless they know all the details here, I'm not comfortable giving you advice to do something behind their backs.

Dress conservative. You dot want to give the wrong impression your first time out. Also no alone time. Maybe invite more friends to go along as a group. Give yourself a chance to know him in settings other then the ones you have been in already. Make sure you maintain personal space and if your not comfortable with anything happening speak up or if needed yell. Carry cab money for getting home and switch your cellphone to active GPS.
