My whirlpool duet dryer worked yesterday, then I noticed that the light was not on . The dryer just beeps when I push the start button. I do have power. I umplugged it, and got a pf error. Now it just beeps in all modes.

You may have a door switch problem. It sounds like the dryer does not recognize that the door is closed and beeps to tell you it is open. (Grey?) button near the top of the door opening.
