Big problem if water seeps from tiled shower floor edges when old grout removed?
3 year old enclosed shower with ceramic tile floor and walls. About one year ago we noticed some water damage along the wall that connects to the shower bench wall. Our home builder came out and assessed the problem. They regrouted and recaulked the shower floor and edges and then repaired the water-damaged wall. They let it sit for 2 days to make sure water was no longer leaking through. They then repaired the side cabinet that suffered water damage. Here we are a year later and the grout is again cracking and the caulk is peeling off in the floor edges and corners. When I removed the old grout and caulk to replace it, water began seeping out and the shower floor slowly becomes wet. I dry it up and it happens again. What could this mean?

The symptoms you described are consistent with improper drain installation or clogged weep holes. Can you take and post a picture of your drain ?
