    Florida eviction process timeline
I purchased a piece of property in Putnam co. Florida with the agreement for the seller to vacate property in 90 days. In the contract it stated he had 90 day to remove a mobil home and 2 portable out buildings and all his junk. Well 90 days is gone, the sellers not, nor has any of his stuff. Do I have to evict or can I show up with front end loaders, dumpsters and make way for a new home?
    What legal steps are necessary?

If he is still occupying the property you have to evict. NEVER try to forcibly remove someone from property without a court order.

Since the agreement of sale stated he had to vacate within 90 days I don't believe you have to give any further notice. So Monday morning go to the local court and file for an eviction order. There will probably be a need for a hearing for him to show cause why an order shouldn't be issued. But since he was given 90 days, I can't see how he can avoid the order being issued. If he still doesn't vacate then you hire a sheriff to accompany you and the front loaders to remove him.

Thans so much for the response. Do you have any idea how long the process will take to get a court order?

    Hello j:

If you are efficient, and your courts are efficient, it shouldn't take more than 3 weeks.
