I'm Pakistani and married to British National who lives and has business in portugal. During our stay in pakistan which was for five months, I applied for short stay visa for Germany and then for Spain providing everything embassies asked for. Both rejected me. I thought it was in Eu laws that a spouse of Eu citizen can travel freely to europe. It doesn't seem true. My wife is back in Euorpe and we are separated for months. Who can I ask for help? Is there any way that I can join my wife? Please help.

How long have you been married? Why did you apply for short stay visa when you are eligible to apply as dependent? Your marriage does not look genuine... normally dependent visa is very easy.
