We just bought this house. In the Roman tub in the bathroom the hot water is just working fine but when I turn (rotate) the handle towards cold water, water pressure slowly dies down and eventually stops. It looks like that perhaps the cold water system is not functioning properly. It is Price Pfister pull out and turn handle. How do I fix it?

This should have been found by your home inspector? I'd chat him up and ask how he missed this. In fact, you should be able to call in a plumber and it should be covered by some warranty... I think!

Otherwise, if for some reason you guys want to fix this I would shut off the hot and cold water supply to the shower or simply shut the water main and disassemble the shower valve. Remove all parts inside and then turn the water back on to clear the valve of any debris/sediment. At this time, check the cartridge assembly as well to be sure a washer is not dislodged. Then, reassemble all and turn water back on.. hopefully up and running and all set. If not, pop back and let us know what you did and what happened and we can discuss more... OK?
