It's quite common to bleed the first time you have sex (and also common not to). If it's not the first time, it's possible that he was being a bit too rough. Of course, if it's at the beginning or end on your period, this could be a cause of bleeding too.

Sometimes I bleed if it has been awhile since Ive had sex. It has nothing to do with him being too rough either. Your body may not be fully adapted to sex yet.

Your vagina has to become adapted before sex is fully comfortable and before it is not painful. Bleeding is a common occurrence in girls who have sex for the first time, or in their first few times, so this is perfectly normal. If the blood was glupy then it's probably something to do with either just coming off her period, or just going on.

Either way if there was a lot of bleeding and your friend was concerned about it. Best thing to do would be to go down to your local doctor, where you can speak to them in confidence without worrying whether your parents will find out. That way you can get a professional verdict and feel comfortable that no one else will know about it.
