I am trying to find out how to fire a public defender and have a new one appointed. I strongly feel that we are being misprepresented by the public defender. He has not done anything to help the case. He acts scared and has said that he believes that we are guilty and hiddding things. I want to find out the best possible way to handle this.

I don't know what a marsden motion is, but you can fire him by MAIL for the reasons you mentioned. Send your letter certified, return receipt requested. Send a copy to the judge and one to the prosecutor. They'll appoint another one.
