Can the state me child suport when my spouse in incarcerated
My child father is incarcerated in state prison. We are not married. Can I receive child support from the state of Florida. My child is 5 years old

Child support is paid by the non-custodial parent to the custodial parent for the care of a minor child. If the NCP does not have any income, then there is nothing with which to pay support.

If you have no income the state may have programs to provide you with funds to use to care for your child.
