I have a 2 door JEEP and for the past 6 months I've been having problems with the stabilization. The problem occurs when I'm traveling over 80km/h and when I press the brakes the entire vehicle becomes very unstable, wobbles and shakes. It seems like my front wheel alignment is the problem?

    . Check/replace ball joints.

    . Check/replace wheel bearings.

Basically, every 100,000 miles these items, as well as struts and outer tie-rod ends, need to be replaced. Use quality replacement parts; e.g. Moog and Timken.

Because the adjustable ball joints used on Jeeps affect camber and caster, be sure to get the alignment checked, after making the repairs.
