    Sink drain won't stay plugged
When I pull up on the drain pull, it closes OK... but when you let go, even after water is in the sink, it will open back up. How do I keep the drain from draining water when I want water to stay in the sink?

    Hi Dgf45

Is this a new occurrence or is this something that has always happened? Out of curiosity, let me know... OK?

By what you describe, I'm going to suggest that the RETAINING NUT (see image) is loose. Use your hand or if needed take a pair of pliers and see if you can tighten the nut a bit. You may need to tighten more/less until you find a reasonable resistance for both up and down movement of the pop-up.

If that doesn't resolve the issue it could be that the entire pop-up assembly will need to be replaced.

Tighten things up... let me know what happens.
