We r constructing a new house with a sloping roof. While on the day we were pouring the slab it started raining heavily for 4/5 hours and so the contractor had to stop filling the slab in middle. Now I want to ask whether we can por the remaining slab on some other day & if this will cause leaking problems as now the slab will not be poured continuosly pl. answer

Usually you would want to create a keyed joint if the pour is broken up in the multiple pours. What did the contractor do to protect the concrete that was already on the ground?
