Installing Honeywell Thermo with Lennox Heat Pump
I have purchased a new Honeywell "RedLink" wireless system in able to relocate my thermostat without the hassel of running new lines. I will be installing this on an Merit Series Lennox Heat Pump system (1C/2H). Can someone help me with the wiring? I currently have 6 wires coming out of the wall (Blue,Red,White,Brown,Yellow,Green) and the Thermostat calls for (C,R,W,W2,Y,G)... I assume Blue =C, Red = R, Y = Yellow and G = Green, but unsure of which wire to connect to W & W2.I just want to ensure I connect the right color wires to the right terminal on the thermostat... so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Most likely white to w and brown to w2, where is your orange wire to the o for the reversing valve?

There is no orange wire. The honeywell installation guide has the W (O/B) listed as the changeover relay and the W2 (Aux/E) as the backup heat? Does that make sense?

The old Thermostat was also a Honeywell and the current setup is C-Blue, G-Green, Y-Yellow, O/B - Brown and Aux - White. I removed the panel from the blower to inspect the wiring and it appeared W1=White and W2 = Brown which is what stumped me since I had them installed in reverse order with the current thermostat... which I installed! So it could have been connected wrong this entire time.
