While showering, our water pressure shuts off. After standing, waiting, anywhere from 2-7 minutes, it finally comes back on with full pressure. How do we fix this?

First, tell us what kind/brand and type of shower faucet it is... If unsure, snap a picture of it and post it...

In the interim: remove shower head and run water w/o it. See if the problem continues...

The problem could be inside your shower cartridge. If that's the case, you would have to remove it, clean it and reinstall it ( perhaps even replace it with new one ).
