I just put a new blower motor in and now the furnace burns for about 2 minutes and then shuts off and then the blower kicks on for about 2 minutes and then the furnace kicks on again? It's a repeat process. What's up with it? Please help. Thanks.

If the blower stays on, it could be the upper limit switch. If cleaning it doesn't help, perhaps replace it. A little more description of the furnace, age, brand, model might help.
What was the reason for the new blower motor? Did the furnace work correctly before you replaced the blower motor?
Sounds like your furnace is over heating, it is very common if you have dirty filter, to many registers closed, air return is block, clogged, or covered. Did you replace the motor for same size, same cfm movement? If motor was not wired correctly it could be running at to low of speed.Quote:
