Nope as the Dell discs have Dell drivers and the key is already in use.

That's called piracy. Windows is licensed to be installed on ONE machine and one machine only. Even if the disk that came with the Dell is a generic Win 7 disk, it would still be illegal to put it on a second machine.

If you want Win 7 (and I recommend it), buy a legal copy.

Whoever told you Windows could be loaded on more than one PC either never read the user license (EULA) or is lying.
