How can I tell if I have low-e and argon gas?
I replaced all my windows (21) with double pane, low-e and argon gas... at least that's what I paid for. I'm having doubts that I really have the low-e and argon gas between the panes. How can I tell for certain?

What makes me suspicious? I've had the windows for about 9 months now, and I saw very little difference (about $10 less per month) in my utility bills. The windows are crystal clear, and I expected the gas to give them a slight tent. When it's cold outside and I touch the glass, it feels cold, almost as much as my old windows did, and when the sun shines through the windows I can feel the warmth on my skin.

Low E & Argon gas has a dark black tint to it. My sunroom windows were ordered clear and they had to be reordered to match the rest of the house. Trust me when you stand outside and look at them they should have a black tint to them and if their like a light brown tint then their clear period. Go to Lowe's and look at their pella windows with Low E Argon gas and you will see the difference.
