Hi I'm an 18 year old female who can see dead friends and family. I started seeing dead people when I was 15. I didn't believe it myself at first. When I told my parents I could see dead family and friends, they just thought it was my mind playing tricks on me. It stopped for two years until five of my best friends were killed. I once again began hearing and seeing them. My friend told me it wasn't real and that I was just imagining them but I can have full conversations with them. They are coming to see me more frequently and I just want them to be at peace. I have tried to get them to cross over but they tell me that they want to protect me and won't do it.How do I get them to cross over? Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks

Tell them they need to go to the Light. I know it sounds corny, but sometimes that is all that is necessary. Sometimes when people die suddenly they get disoriented, and telling them to go to the Light is giving them a direction and they can orient themselves to that instead of using you to orient themselves.

On the other hand, if they want to protect you, have they told you what it is they want to protect you from? It may be that if everyone can come up with an alternate way of protecting you, they may feel free enough to cross over.
