My laptop doesn't work in the normal mode but works in the safe mode
    Hello
    I need a help here
My laptop was working fine until suddenly started to freeze .
Now, It doesn't work and nothing could be opened; (software, browsers,
PDF files, folders, icons, even the task manager and the start button do not work.
But, in the safe mode it is working fine and now I am in the safe mode.
    Any suggestions?
( I haven't download anything today, nor did I uninstall any software

I have ran AVIRA AV and malwarebytes, spybot, and countryside antispyware
I also ran hijack and found 1 nasty thing and was removed.
Ran vundofix and rootkitrevealer and nothing found. I ran cclean.
The problem is still. I think there might be a memory issue since the notebook
Takes a long time to reboot, while it was booting promptly.
Also, it might be a hardware issue. Any one can help me please ?
    Thanks

As you can get into sage mode, do a system restore back to time and date when everything OK

Start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore and choose date when all good and apply

    Should be OK

Yeah, I know that but unfortunately I was turning it off, so even
If I turn it on now, I am not going to have any restore points
Besides, I don't know how to turn it on at this moment.

Hey, I ran a diagnostics test for the memory and HD using F11 (system recovery)
And choosing : recovery manager --> computer check up --> windows partition
And it made a 5 stages of test in the system 32, and nothing was found.
What does that tell us ? Does it mean I have a hardware issue ?

It just checks for possible hardware issues and if nothing comes up, that is good.

Without system restore enabled and no restore points, would suggest a repair installation which will 'fix' the software issue with not being able to start in normal mode.

Do you have a set of recovery disks? Or do you have the recovery software on a hidden partition?
-You may have an option as you did by pressing F11 on boot that will start the recovery program if there is a hidden partition with the pre-installed OS
-If you can start this process, you may be given the option to do a repair as opposed to a full re-install

Same if have recovery discs, it may give you the option to repair as well - either or

Hopefully that it will give you the option

If no hidden partition by finding out what key starts the system recovery on boot and no recovery cd's, some laptops have the option to create a set of recovery disks with a program on the hard drive - usually start, programs, accessories and then in one of those folders there.

I don't understand this laptop. I have just boot it in the normal
Mode, and surprisingly It's working fine and really good !
I didn't do anything. Are there ghosts in the laptops that
    May repair them ? Hahaha...
Anyway, I don't trust this notebook anymore and I would like to open the restore system but I don't find any key ?
I go to system protection but could not have anything to
    Turn on the restore system.
Could you tell me please where can I turn it on ?

    What OS are you using?

System protection where you know how to get to
If using windows 7, click configure and choose which option you would like, the first option would be suggested - apply

vista, put check next the letter of the drive to turn on - drive c:\ would be the drive you would want to turn on system restore on as has your system settings on drive c: - apply

Once turned on, would suggest to create a new restore point as your system opens up normally now

Have you tried to use a restore point to go back to a date when all was working?

    Would try that first

    What version windows?

Safe Mode, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore and choose date when all was working
