A friend of mine went to jail and realised her son into my custody she had been realised from jail but has been instructed not to have any contact with her son until she goes to court . Am I still responcable for this child until she goes to court or am I sopoto just let him go and do what ever?

You ARE responsible. No, don't just let him go and do what ever. They'll put YOU in jail for that. I'd look for a grandmother or somebody. But, if you can't find anybody - you can't.
